The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15536.61 crore against gross selling of Rs 16329.80 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 793.19 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 4804.86 crore with gross sales of Rs 3047.20 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1757.66 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 159.49 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 920.02 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 678.15 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 17.55 crore against gross selling of Rs 35.14 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 17.59 crore in hybrid segment.
